My (EmJay's) higher educational field was teaching. As I develop my pages, this fact is always in the back of my mind, and I strive to continue to teach via our "home page." Of course, there are a number of resources out there on the internet, which I'm sure you have visited (including our Yosemite neighborhood in GeoCities). Therefore, my goal is to summarize a number of aspects concerning our state of Arizona, topics which are specific to our Yosemite neighborhood, and areas I have a personal interest in. Additionally, I want you, our web visitor, to learn more about our locale, whether or not you live within this region, and possibly impart a desire to inquire further on your own. If this is done, then my goal for this section has been accomplished.
A lover of outdoor adventures, I invite you to travel along with me, exploring parks, forest areas, hiking trails, or auto tours, all of which are freely available in our Southwest vicinity. A number of the locations covered have been personally visited by us, so my comments will likely reflect this fact. At the end of each discussion you'll find "Question/s of the day." These are intended to encourage you to further explore our site, as well as any links included on any of the pages in this section.
Now, let's get on with the tour! Click the icon to the left of each location (this section is still under construction so not all links are established at this time.....to be completed real soon!!!).
